Abstract
Calculated from 1363 api profiles measured in the Kainuu region of eastern Finland during winter 1983-1984, the Värriö Snow Index (VSI) models the winter movements and feeding activity of Rangifer tarandus fennicus there. Api-Rangifer "Periods" derived earlier also apply in general to this region.
